2010 "Art Lives Here" Silent Art Auction
An evening of generosity for artists, collectors and art lovers to share the gift of creative expression with those in our community touched by cancer.
Join us at Gallery 115 in Greensboro on September 11th from 5-8pm for an evening that celebrates the art of giving. More than 90 local and regional artists works will be auctioned. Donated works include photography, sculpture, painting, ceramics, jewelry, fiberworks and more.
100% of all proceeds benefit the work of Hirsch Wellness Network!
Admission is $10.00
The evenings festivities include live music, free beverages and amazing food from some of the areas finest restaurants. Including: Fishbones, Sticks and Stones, Fenders, Marias, Biancas and Four Winds Cafe.

Finding Wisdom Through Words meets the second Thursday of each month.
Join local writer Jayne England Byrne for an evening of creative writing. You will learn a variety of journaling techniques that will guide individuals through their experiences and offer insights into a new perspective.
Classes and instruction are free of charge. We provide materials, or you can bring your own journal.
IMAGINE: A Workshop for People in Transition
Saturday September 25th 11-2pm - Sunday 26th 2-5pm
Gallery 115, located at 115 Pomona Drive, Greensboro
Join us for a two-part weekend workshop with fine artist Beatrice Schall, as we IMAGINE ways of moving forward through our experiences. Participants will be guided in the use of objects, words and collage techniques as they build their own personal altars. Classes and instruction are free of charge to cancer survivors, patients in treatment and caregivers. Participants should be able to attend both sessions.
Lite Refreshments will be served.
Beatrice Schall lives and works in Greensboro, NC. She has a Masters of College Teaching/Studio Art from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her work is exhibited nationally.
