Art Lives Here
Silent Art Auction

2020 ART LIVES HERE~ONLINE BIDDING and VIRTUAL LIVE STREAMING EVENT

September 26th – October 3rd
This year, Art Lives Here is VIRTUAL, coming to your home with Online Bidding of donated art Starting September 26th at 6pm, and continues through Saturday October 3rd with a Live Streaming Event broadcast from Historic Revolution Mill, Greensboro, NC.

To keep us all safe, in person attendance is only for our Broadcast2Go Live Stream production crew and presenting visitors, so kick back at home, and enjoy an evening of viewing art, silent bidding, and connecting with those in our community who are committed to the emotional health of those touched by cancer.

Art Lives Here offers FREE Online Access. Registration is required and access to registration will open on September 26th, 6pm at www.HirschWellnessNetwork.org.

You’re sure to enjoy music performed live from Revolution Mill, interviews with some of our donating artists, you’ll meet our amazing Hirsch Instructors, and hear from individuals who share what makes Hirsch programs so special!

The Art Lives Here Fundraiser has become a tradition of giving for many local and regional artists. Diverse works of fine art and artisanal craft are generously donated each year, assuring that cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers can attend Hirsch Wellness Healing Arts Programs free-of-charge. Since March, 2020 Hirsch Programs have been offered via Zoom, where each month more than 25 workshops have been attended by 350+ participants. 100% of proceeds from the Art Lives Here Silent Auction pay our instructors, provide quality art supplies, and support operating expenses for Hirsch staff to continue to dream big!

HIRSCH WELLNESS IS THE PIEDMONT’S CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY
Twelve years ago, we dreamed we could touch the lives of hundreds of people affected by cancer. Because of your support, we have! In 2008 we began with 5 programs serving 35 participants, and in 2019 Hirsch has served over 10,000 participants in attendance at more than 980 programs! Our weekly on-site Artist in Residence programs at Cone Health have provided creative experiences to more than 2,000 patients in treatment, survivors and family members.

Art Lives Here is our largest fundraiser of the year, and the reason our healing arts programs for cancer survivors and caregivers remain free of charge. Become part of this caring community, where we celebrate the beauty of life through the power of art, despite the challenges brought on by a cancer diagnosis.

How to Sponsor & Earn Cool Stuff!

The Annual Art Lives Here Event unites artists, donors, collectors and friends to raise funds for Hirsch Wellness creative programs serving the emotional needs of people living with cancer in Greater Greensboro. Arts and wellness programs at the Hirsch Center at Revolution Mill and Online offer cancer survivors and caregivers community support and creative growth opportunities through the cancer journey and beyond.

This year, Art Lives Here will begin on September 26th, 2020 at 6pm with Online Bidding of Art. The event will be Live Streamed Online October 3rd at 6pm. Attendance at the event is limited to the Live Stream production team and presenting visitors. We thank you for your contributions, which provide the resources to present this event as an online virtual fundraiser.
