Horticultural therapist Catherine Crowder will guide us in creating a beautiful journal inspired by nature’s restorative powers, where we can capture our thoughts and feelings as we develop a relationship with the outdoors. This journal gives writers a place to develop a relationship with nature whether we gaze through a window, walk along a trail or nurture a small garden. All materials will be provided. Class size is limited to 10 participants, and registration is required.
Join print artist Mary Beth Boone for an afternoon of monoprinting! Using a gel base and acrylic paints, participants will explore color, texture, pattern, line and shape. Everyone will have the chance to create a series of prints using found objects, stamps, stencils and colored inks. This is a magical and fun printmaking process. The prints can stand alone as works of art; or be used to make folders, cards, book covers and more!
