Along with a gentle movement practice, this Inner Balance class will lead you through guided meditation and visualization as tools to help combat stress, anxiety and other forms of tension. Negative thoughts and worry, if not dealt with, can weaken your physical state and make you more susceptible to various physical challenges. Relaxation techniques such as Imagery and meditation visualization are designed to release brain chemicals that act as natural tranquilizers, naturally assisting the body in lowering blood pressure, reducing heart rate and decreasing anxiety and stress. Come learn simple tools you can use to improve your mind, body and spirit every day!

Latch hook is a traditional fiber handcraft that is both relaxing and meditative. Using pre-cut colored yarns and a rug canvas, participants will be guided in selecting colors to create an original fiber art piece with self-designed patterns and abstract designs. All supplies are included. Registeration is required. Class size is limited to 10.
