In this class, horticultural therapist Catherine Crowder will share the craft of creating a wooden flower press to discover the beautiful practice of preserving floral pieces. The press can be used to create a range of faded pastels to more vibrant tones. Participants will take home a beautiful flower press to expand their imaginative approach to the use of natural materials; perhaps a leaf becomes a tree or petals form mountains. All materials will be provided. Class size is limited to 10 participants, and registration is required.
