The making of Psanky (plural) is an Old World decorative art form dating back more than 2000 years. Traditionally, it’s believed that owning a Psanka (singular) can bring good luck. The elaborately designed eggs, given as gifts to family members and others, can also bestow protection from evil spirits, catasphrophes, lightning and fires on a home and its occupants. Instructor Janice Marchewka will lead us in using colored wax as a painting medium on eggshells. All materials will be provided. Registration is required.
