Research has found that cancer patients that have a regular yoga practice experience a reduction in stress along with seeing an improvement in their quality of life, appetite, and pain reduction. Yoga has also been found to help with insomnia caused by the combination of physical and mental stress that makes sleep difficult. Some research has found yoga to be able to help improve sleep quality, efficiency, and duration. This class is an opportunity to explore some of these practices that may be beneficial in these areas.
