When we are feeling emotionally overwhelmed, we can literally forget to breathe ~ the breath becomes shallow and the body tenses, producing stress that can lead to physical problems. In this Wellness Session, we will learn various breathing techniques that connect mind and body to help us get “unstuck” and to discover our own ability to effectively manage stressful thoughts and feelings. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Dress in comfortable/athletic clothing, and arrive a few minutes early to set up your practice space. Register at the class.
