Art Lives Here

Art Lives Here is an evening of viewing art, silent bidding, and connecting with artists and those in our community who have been touched by cancer. One Hundred Percent (100%) of funds raised at the auction will go directly to Hirsch Wellness programs, giving hope, healing and emotional support to cancer survivors, patients in treatment and caregivers.

11th Annual
Art Lives Here
Silent Art Auction

Contact us to learn how you can support our 2020 Event!

The Art Lives Here Silent Auction has become a tradition of giving for many local and regional artists. Diverse works of fine art and artisanal craft are donated, assuring that cancer survivors and caregivers attending Hirsch Wellness Programs will continue to receive emotional support and benefit from year-round, free-of-charge creative arts and wellness classes and workshops.

The next ALH will mark the 11th anniversary of this fun, fabulous event celebrating the survivors and caregivers, artists and art lovers in our community, initiating a fresh, new decade of growth and creativity

On Saturday, October 5th, 2019 from 6 to 9 pm, “Art Lives Here” will return to Greensboro’s Revolution Mill in the renovated 1250 Arts Building —  home of the Hirsch Center for Creativity and Wellness. Guests will enjoy fabulous food and beverages, along with terrific live music. It’s an evening of viewing art, silent bidding, and connecting with artists and those in our community who have been touched by cancer. One Hundred Percent (100%) of funds raised at the auction will go directly to Hirsch Wellness programs, giving hope, healing and emotional support to cancer survivors, patients in treatment and caregivers.

Eleven years ago, we dreamed we could touch the lives of hundreds of people affected by cancer. Because of your support, we have! In 2008 we began with 5 programs serving 35 participants, now in 2019 Hirsch has served over 10,000 participants attending over 875 programs! Including our weekly Artist in Residence Programs on-site at Cone Health Cancer Center in Greensboro.

Art Lives Here is our largest fundraiser of the year, and the reason our healing arts programs for cancer survivors and caregivers remain free of charge. Join us on October 5th and become part of this caring community, where we celebrate the beauty of life through the power of art, despite the challenges brought on by a cancer diagnosis.

How to Sponsor & Earn Cool Stuff!

The Annual Art Lives Here Event unites artists, donors, collectors and friends to raise funds for Hirsch Wellness creative programs serving the emotional needs of people living with cancer in Greater Greensboro.
