Join guest instructor Lauren Rubin for an ongoing exploration of mindfulness meditation. This biweekly drop-in facilitates personal meditation practice and understanding by investigating common meditation hindrances and the factors that support meditative steadiness, while gently turning towards the grace and beauty inherent in our hearts, our minds, and our lives. This evening session is designed to introduce calm, reduce stress, improve sleep, instill happiness, and offer tools for emotional well-being and self-care.
Lauren began practicing meditation in 1995 and her mindfulness practice has deepened over the years through engaging with ancient teachings and western meditation masters on retreats and in courses. She completed her MA in Mindfulness Studies and teacher certification with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. Lauren is delighted to share these ancient practices and teachings with anyone curious about how to live a happier, well-balanced life.
