Creative Writing: What is Spoken, What is Said (in person) with Molly Haile

In this creative writing class, we’ll talk about how real-life conversations aren’t just about the words spoken. Together, we’ll read examples of conversations in nonfiction and fiction writing and look at the many ways writers reveal what’s really going on between two (or more) people speaking to each other. Having primed our creative pumps, we’ll write our own scenes with conversations that convey meaning beyond the words spoken. No experience necessary.
