Furoshiki Fabric Art (in person) with Xin Roberson

December 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

four beautifully wrapped gifts using fabric, Japanense art of Furoshiki

We’ll learn a creative new way to wrap gifts! Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth used to bundle and transport items. Typically made from fabric such as cotton or silk, it comes in various sizes and designs. Furoshiki serves both practical purposes — like carrying goods — and artistic ones, as it allows for creative wrapping techniques that enhance the presentation of gifts. The practice promotes sustainability by encouraging reuse and reducing waste associated with conventional gift wrapping. Registration is required.

Registration will close at noon on the day before class. If you have any questions, please contact the Hirsch Office at 336.209.0259 or email admin@hirschcenter.org.
