Sashiko is a form of Japanese folk embroidery using the basic running stitch to create a patterned background. The Japanese word Sashiko means “little stabs” and refers to the small stitches used in this form of needlework. In this class we will practice the technique of sewing the Sashiko stitches in geometrical patterns on cards.
Registration is required. Registration closes at 12 noon on the day before class.
