Join us for a new movement class! Kinetic Awareness (KA) is a somatic method that provides an opportunity to explore movement potential and develop movement possibilities. This practice enhances the understanding of the language of the body and how we can listen to it. Emphasis is on awareness of and release of frozen or held tension.
KA is often referred to as “The Ball Work” because the system uses rubber balls to enhance body awareness and release excess muscular tension. Balls placed under various parts of the body provide contact with inner sensation, bringing awareness to inefficient muscular patterns. The balls support, stretch, and massage the body part. Join instructor Jill Green and reap the numerous rewards of this practice.
This class will be held in Gallery 1250 at Revolution Mill. Registration is required to attend. Registration closes on April 11 at noon. Masks are required.
