Online Mail Art Project with Artist Alexandra Gaal

August 31 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

What does home mean to you? Now that we are all spending more time at our homes during COVID-19, we are asking YOU to express what being HOME feels like. Join artist Alexandra Gaal for a unique Mail Art Project where she will explore lots of creative ways to use craft and collage techniques to decorate a Paper HOME Template, to share what HOME means to you at this time.

REGISTER and you will be asked to send us your home address, so we can mail you the HOME paper template and instructions, along with a self-addressed box for you to return your completed work of art. Because we are in this together, these works of art will be Exhibited at the Hirsch Center, and photographed to share as collective messages of hope on social media.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO RECEIVE ACCESS TO THIS ZOOM CLASS. REGISTRATION CLOSES ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE CLASS START TIME.  THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS, YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH THE ZOOM ACCESS LINK. FOR QUESTIONS CALL THE HIRSCH OFFICE AT 336.209.0259

IF YOU ARE NEW TO ZOOM OR HAVE TECHNOLOGY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL THE HIRSCH OFFICE AT LEAST 1 DAY PRIOR TO THE SESSION.
