Perceptions for Healing: An Introduction to Mindfulness & Compassion Meditations with Éowyn Ahlstrom

Helpful for both newcomers and those with experience meditating, these sessions welcome you to explore simple ways to support yourself, in the here and now. While we cannot always choose our life circumstances, we can always access inner-connection and cultivate kindness. Join these sessions to explore together, through meditations and conversations, our tremendous inner human resources.
Éowyn Ahlstrom, M.Ed., LMT, RYT, facilitates programs in mindfulness, meditation and yoga and consults with both individuals and organizations to provide pragmatic guidance and support for integrating contemplative awareness into modern life. She is the author of Mindscapes: Practice Poems. In addition to her Master’s degree in Education, Éowyn has qualifications as licensed massage therapist, a registered yoga teacher, and is certified to teach both mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) and compassion cultivation training (CCT). Over the years, Eowyn has taught programs for the Mindfulness Center at Brown University, the Insight Meditation Society, the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and the Center for Mindfulness & Compassion at the Cambridge Health Alliance, among others.
