Reiki Level 1 (in person) with Bev Vaughn

Reiki is an ancient energy practice that is used to reduce stress and support physical and emotional healing. Research suggests that using Reiki as an integrative therapy activates the parasympathetic nervous system so the body can repair itself. Reiki is accessible to everyone and is easy to learn! Practitioners use specific hand positions, held for a few minutes on or near the client’s clothed body.

A Reiki certificate will be available after this workshop, and participants will be able to perform self-treatments. If you do not want certification, this is also a great way to experience giving Reiki to others and yourself. We will cover the history, principles, and elements of Reiki, energy attunement, hand positions, and experiential practice. Registration is required.

NOTE: The doors for the 1250 Building are now locked on Saturdays, so you will need to enter via the 1175 entrance, next to the Cugino Forno pizza place. It is an ADA-accessible entrance and there is an elevator you can take to the first floor.
