What Nature Knows: A Journal Writing Class Online with Catherine Crowder and Molly Haile
October 13 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
What can humans learn from the rhythms and ever-changing landscape of the natural world? In this monthly, series we will observe, sketch, write, and reflect and learn more about birds, trees, plants, seasonal cycles, and other aspects of nature from gardening instructor and horticultural therapist Cat Crowder. Writer Molly Haile will share short selections on the same topic from beloved writers of nature along with writing exercises for recording our own observations and reflections about nature—and our lives.
For our October What Nature Knows, we’ll be learning and writing about trees. If you have time beforehand, take a photo of a tree that’s special to you. There will be a prompt in class related to it. No worries at all though if you can’t take a photo, don’t have time, or forget!
And a little inspiration to get you in the mood for next month.
