Live interviews with artists, Hirsch instructors and our volunteers will make Art Lives Here a chance to not only buy art, but also get a little closer to the people who make Hirsch happen.

It’s our 12th year for the Art Lives Here Silent Auction.
Always a jam-packed evening of friends, food, entertainment and amazing art for your home, Art Lives Here will add live streaming and three days of online bidding this year. Whether you join us in person — with requisite safety practices in place — or in your pajamas from your favorite comfy chair, 2020 will be an innovative year for Hirsch’s biggest fund raiser.

We’re teaming up Eric Chilton’s Broadcast2Go to assure an as-good-as-being-here experience via live stream. And we’re also starting the silent auction three days in advance of the main event.

This year we are providing free access to the online event, which continues through Saturday, October 3, where we will Live Stream Art Lives here starting at 6 pm, direct from Greensboro’s Revolution Mill 1250 Arts Building. Guests attending in-person will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and beverages, along with terrific live music.

Another new feature this year — enabled with the new format — will be conversations with some of our donating artists, our amazing Hirsch Instructors, and the people who make Hirsch programs happen.

Whether you attend in person or from home, you’ll enjoy an evening bidding on fabulous works of art donated by artists near and far, enjoy live music performances, artists interviews and some surprise guest appearances. Enjoy connecting with those in our community who are committed to the emotional health of those touched by cancer. (The number of guests attending in person at Revolution Mill depends on the status of the COVID-19 health crisis at the time of Art Lives Here.)
